Does painter allow you to color in UNDER a certain layer? Just trying to browse around for different paint programs....so far, I think photoshop cs is my best bet.+

Well in Painter you can color in many different layers just like photoshop, if thats what you are asking. Personally I like coloring with painter more than with photoshop, cuz I am more familar with Painter:).

But there are a lot of people creating master works in both programs here. So it's pretty much up to the users to choose the program they like and master it. After all painter and photoshop are both great programs with infinate potentials LOL

I meant to ask if the layer of color that you applied, through painter8 automatically hides itself behind the hand drawn layer of ink that you have drawn....or did you have to zoom right in there, and color in between the hand drawn parts....? know what I mean?

But it looks like it does in your pic, which is really good....so, did you have to color in between the hand drawn lines, mate?

Anyway, I'm off....gotta test out these prismacolors, never used 'em before! I'm terrible with colors....ugh...maybe I should stick to no color, or at least a color limit.
